Originally posted Nov 29th, 2012. I took this photo on the Wakulla River in Florida. We stayed at the The Lodge at Wakulla Springs located in Edward Ball Wakulla Springs State Park. Built in 1930’s the Lodge features 27 rooms uniquely decorated for the time period. The historic lodge is well-maintained and includes a full-service restaurant as well as breath-taking views. It is a great get away from things. Cell phone service was spotty. WiFi and TV were available in the lobby. The TV only had DVD or VHS movies of movies filmed at the lodge and springs.
