30 Years of Spam

May 3rd marks the 30th anniversary Spam. That is right on May 3rd 1978 the first spam was sent over ARAPNet. It was advertising DEC's new System-20 mini computers. Of course by today's standards mini-computers weren't that small. It was certainly bigger than my iPod and less memory. For more on the history of spam.
