Sunset over Kyle Field

Home to the 12th Man and steeped in tradition Kyle Field is one of the most intimidating stadiums in college football. Kyle Field has been home to Aggie football since 1904 or 1905. The first stadium was completed in the early 1920s with seating for around 500. Today the Kyle Field seats over 80,000. Major renovations are scheduled to begin at the end of this season that will make Kyle Field the largest stadium in the Texas and SEC.

  1. Kyle Field , home to the Texas A&M Aggies, has one of the biggest student sections in college football! All of the three levels on the east side of the stadium make up the student section of Kyle Field. The band sits at the 50 yard line in sections 141 and 142, behind the visitors bench, and the student section is located all around the band. The student section at Kyle Field gets super loud while the Aggies are on defense, which makes the visiting team nervous, possibly making them go to a silent snap count! This gives the Aggies a huge home field advantage!
