Early Saturday August 8th, MercyMe’s tour bus was involved in a collision with a car.

The band was leaving a late night concert in Ft Wort Wayne, Indiana. Apparently, the bus  had a green light and was traveling through an intersection when a car pulled in front of it.  Two passengers and the drivers unborn  child were killed. The driver is in critical condition.  No one the bus was seriously injured.

  1. Yes, this tragic accident happened in our community, it is very sad. Hopefully the lone survivor in the car will survive her injuries, she was listed as being in critical condition. This young lady will need prayers and support for a long time, as she will have to come to terms with the loss of her baby, and two of her friends. So, so sad, one moment of inattention and so much loss.
