1 Apple
- 1 Pear
- 1 Peach
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 1 lemon — squeezed
- Lettuce Mix
- Cooking oil
Note: You can use any fruit you like but it works better with harder fruit.
- Wash and shred lettuce.
- Cut fruit in half. Lightly brush grill or cut side of fruit with oil. Grill for 3-5 minutes.
- Rinse fruit in ice cold water to stop cooking. Coat fruit with 1/2 of lemon juice. I use the other half to dress the salad. If you want a little sweeter mix lemon juice with a little honey.
