Morgan’s Wonderland is a family fun park/theme park designed for those with special needs. Gordon Hartman became inspired by an incident that occurred when his daughter Morgan tried to interact with other children in a hotel swimming pool. Morgan’s disability made interacting with other children in a traditional setting difficult.

Hartman’s goal was to create a special place for special friends.  It would be an environment for inclusion and understanding.  It would be an oasis for those needing a safe place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.  Hartman quickly learned that millions of children and adults with cognitive and physical challenges generally do not have access to facilities specifically established to assist them in enjoying outdoor activities.

The mission of Morgan’s Wonderland is to be a free and safe place for those with disabilities. Admission to the park is free for those with disabilities. Fees for non-disabled care givers and family members.  Reservations are recommended because admission to the park is limited.  The park features accessible playground, rides, walking paths and attractions.

Oh, yes I almost forgot that Morgan’s Wonderland is located in San Antonio, Texas.
