The Big Guy and I enjoying traveling and many of our trips have been road trips. There are so many candidates for best road the trip down part of the historic Route 66, driving across Pennsylvania with friends, the many cross-country trips home but one of my favorites is a trip we took to the Gatlinburg, Tennessee in the fall of 2006. Our trip was during “leaf season”. Now being from Texas, I just thought leaves turned brown and died. The fall colors were amazing.

We spent about a week in the Gatlinburg area. We explored the National park, Arts and Crafts village and other attractions. It was the only time since moving to Florida in 2003 that we had a vacation to just relax. Usually our vacations are packed with things we want to do, places to go and people to see. We did get to spend sometime with the Big Guy’s grandma and that was fun. We also got to hang out with a friend who lives nearby.

Did you take these pics? Amazing photos! Enjoyed looking ’round your blogsite. I am a bit random of a thinker, so love your variety.
