The Big Guy is usually pretty laid back, take things as they come type of person. I am not. I do not like change or the unknown. Worry is a problem for me. I try not to worry but it is a struggle for me.
One scripture passage that has helped with struggle is Philippians 4:6-7. I really, like how it is written in The Message:
“Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.”
The cool thing about this passage it is a reminder of how much God wants to be involved in my daily life. I do not have to handle everything on my own. If will just get over my stubbornness and keep my life centered around Christ.

Why is it so hard to trust God when we trust people that could hurt us?
