I took these shots while we were waiting for the gates to open for the Michael W. Smith & Steven Curtis Chapman concert last Saturday. It was about 5 pm so the moon was out but it was still light. The concert was held at the St. Augustine Amphitheater, it was a very nice setting. The venue seats between 2,000-3,000 thought it was much better than some of the bigger areana type places I’ve been too.

Check out The Sky Watch Blog.

I love your photos they are amazing.

I love watching the moon in all of its phases. I even tried some photography through my husband’s telescope by just hand holding my digital camera. With just a little work I was able to get some pretty good shots. I invite you to come see my Mackerel Sky in British Columbia. — Margy
