This trunk belonged to my great-great-parents. They brought it across the Mississippi River in a covered wagon when they moved out West in the late 1800's. We shipped it back east in a moving truck when we moved to the east coast in a the early 2000's. Check out more weekly photo challenge.

The theme for the current Weekly Photo Challenge is worn. I selected my favorite rocking chair. The chair belonged to my grandparents. My granddaddy made the chair bottom from twine. I think he may have replaced the original. My grandmother made the afghan on the chair.
