Hope is not the absence of trouble but the presence of God.” — Timothy Keller

For a Christian, hope is far more than mere wishes or rainbows. Our hope is deeply rooted in the very character and existence of God. Hebrews 11 defines faith as the confidence and assurance that our belief in God and His promises is true. Because of this, the promise of eternal life is a settled reality rather than a vague desire.

Hope does not imply that we possess a map of the future. Instead, it is the enduring faith that God remains in control and will provide for our needs. This certainty allows us to release the reins from our own hands and trust His direction.

The nearness of God serves as an anchor during uncertain seasons. Even when circumstances appear frightening or impossible, faith whispers for us to hold fast to Him.
