We recently discovered that the city of Gainesville operates 20+ nature parks throughout the city. Due to the increasing fees for state parks we have decided to check out the city nature parks. These parks are still free and serve as refuge from city life. Cofrin Nature Park is a former horse farm that has been converted to a wild space refuge for both city dwellers and animals.
The entrance to the hiking trail is near where the riding ring once stood.
Thought the hollowed out tree looked cool.
Another interesting treeFrom this angle the Big Guy is really tall.
I write about things I find interesting this include music, movies, cooking, religion, news and whatever else pops in my ADHD brain. As a my tagline says: "The musings of an ADHD mind."I'm never really sure what is will catch my interest.
