Discovered the San Antonio, Texas based band Abandon on TVU.  Abandon is comprised of brothers Josh and Justin Engler, cousins Steven and Dave Vela and a friend Bryan Fowler.  The band got started as a worship band for their church in 2002.  In 2005 they began playing local concerts and released an indie project Ambush. They signed with Forefront Records in 2007 and released their first EP in 2008.  Their debut CD Searchlights hits the streets on August 25, 2009.
