It's Saturday but Sunday is coming.
Good Friday: What Wondrous Love is This?
Ultimately it was love that motivated God to send His Son to take my place. It was love that motivated Christ to lay down His life for me. Good Friday invites us to slow down and really sit with the weight of the cross.
Maundy Thursday: There is a Redeemer
Jesus came as a man on a mission. He came to redeem a broken and fallen world. He stepped into human weakness, suffering, and sin, not to condemn it, but to rescue it. Even His own people struggled to recognize Him because He did not match their expectations or fit their standards. God’s ways have always been higher than ours.
Holy Week Reflection Wednesday: The Basin and Towel
In an ordinary room with ordinary people, Jesus showed extraordinary love. The basin and the towel still invite us to kneel, serve, and love well.
Holy Week Tuesday – How Many Kings
Luke describes Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem with incredible contrast. The crowd’s attitude on Sunday is very different from what it will be on Friday. On Sunday, Jesus is welcomed with praise, celebration, and honor. Cloaks are laid on the road. Voices are lifted in worship.
