Today’s top 10 is in honor of Sesame Street’s 40th birthday. As a child we would watch Sesame Street right before watching my dad on the evening news. Sesame Street and later School House Rock contributed greatly to my education. Today’s list is a combination of favorites and things I learned from Sesame stree.

We actually watched an episode of School House Rock as part of a college English grammar course for those taking more than one year of foreign language classes (most of us were studying Russian). It was about the parts of speech.

In college I we used School House Rock videos in a tutoring program. It was a good way to get information across to older students.
