Ok, this one is just for folks in the Gainesville, Florida area. It is a really cool ministry opportunity. The Christian Pastors’ is sponsoring a 2-day VBS Experience for persons with special needs (developmental disabilities & autism) age 12 and older. So, here are the important details.
When: July 17 & 18, 2009
Friday: Registration 2-3 PM
VBS from 3 – 9 PM
Saturday: 8:15 AM – 1:15 PM
Where: Trinity United Methodist Church, Gainesville, Florida
Pre-Register by July 10, 2009. Contact Cheryl at Parkview Baptist Church
(Each person should be escorted by qualified care giver)
They are also looking for volunteers to help with the VBS and sponsors to provide materials, food, etc for the VBS. If you are interested in being involved contact Cheryl at Parkview Baptist Church.
