Weekly Photo Challenge: Colorful

This week's photo challenge is colorful I took this on our recent trip to the Butterfly Rainforest.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Old Fashioned

This trunk belonged to my great-great-parents. They brought it across the Mississippi River in a covered wagon when they moved out West in the late 1800's. We shipped it back east in a moving truck when we moved to the east coast in a the early 2000's. Check out more weekly photo challenge.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Sky

I took this at Cedar Key, Florida.  We had gone on the sunset cruise. The public pier is on the left hand side. It is the new concrete one that was built after the 2004 hurricanes wiped out the old ones.  On the right hand side is the old Sea Breeze restaurant.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Worn

The theme for the current Weekly Photo Challenge is worn. I selected my favorite rocking chair. The chair belonged to my grandparents. My granddaddy made the chair bottom from twine. I think he may have replaced the original. My grandmother made the afghan on the chair.
