He is risen!
He is risen, indeed!
“He is risen” is more than a responsive greeting we share on Easter Sunday. It is the foundational truth our faith is built upon.
Christ is risen! The grave could not hold Him. He conquered sin and death, and we are no longer captive to our failures.
He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.”
Matthew 28:6
Christ is risen! He has paid the price for our redemption. Because He lives, we have hope — hope that sustains, restores, and transforms.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”
I Peter 1:3 ESV
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the resurrection of Your Son. Thank You that He lives, and because He lives, we have hope, freedom, and new life. Help me to live in the joy and power of Easter every day. Amen.
