What is your middle name? Does it carry any special meaning/significance?
My middle name is a family name. I was named for my Granny. My mom always wished that she had her Granny’s middle name. So she named me for Granny. It is name that has been passed down in Granny’s family for many, many generations.
The picture is of my Granny. It was most likely taken during World Ward II. It looks like she is wearing a star lapel pin. These were worn during WWII to represent family members serving in the military.
As a child I remember going to Granny’s big farmhouse. We would have family gatherings at her house. Especially at Christmas and on Sunday’s after church. Granny would hold me in her lap and tell me stories. She would also make me biscuits and oatmeal cookies.
