Gee, what to say? Well, not to bore you with all the details. So here are few random facts about me. I enjoy spending time with my husband. My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper preferably the kind bottled in Dublin, TX. San Augustine, FL and Vancouver, BC are two of the coolest places I have visited. As a child I had a pet cow named Mrs. Darling and dogs named Polly, Patrice, Bouncer and Duchess.
I enjoy listening to music, cooking, photography and spending time with the Big Guy. My favorite bands are Third Day and U2. The picture on the left was taken at one of the many concerts I have attended. You can learn more about me by reading my blog.
In 2006, I was invited to become the editor of HomeschoolBenefits.org and discovered I actually enjoyed writing. Growing up I never enjoyed writing and would do anything to get out of writing assignments in school. I have dyslexia and dysgraphia. Dysgraphia is a form of dyslexia that affects fine motors skills and the ability to write legibly. It was the actual process of transmitting ideas to paper that made writing so painful. Thanks to several elementary school teachers that ignored my learning disability and punished me for poor handwriting by the time I reached middle school I hated both school and writing.
