Texas Ranger Surprising Draft Move

In last week’s draft Texas Rangers drafted former University of Georgia player Jonathan Taylor. What makes the Rangers choice unusual is that Taylor is partially paralyzed. Taylor broke his neck during collision with teammate Zach Cone during a game on March 6th.  The Rangers also drafted Cone. The Rangers had already planned to draft Taylor before the injury. According to Rangers’ Director for Amateur Scouting Kip Fagg, they believe drafting Taylor was the right thing to do.
