vancouver.jpg Vancouver, Canada is one of the most memorable cities I have visited. It is also probably one of the most beautiful places I have visited. Vancouver is a city of diversity. This is it greatest strengths. It has museums, parks and other outdoor recreation; it is close to both the beach and the mountains.Stanly Park and Queen Elizabeth Park were among my favorite things. Vancouver is located in a beautiful setting. The temperate climate makes it easy to grow “green things”. Both of my trips to Vancouver where in early August and Vancouver’s mild climate was a welcome change from the Texas heat. We were amazed to see green things in August. My husband enjoyed the abundance of stands selling fresh picked berries.

Culturally Vancouver is diverse. Vancouver is home to people of many different ethnic, cultural and religious backgrounds. This adds to the uniqueness of Vancouver.

The food we had while visiting Vancouver was great as well. We were able to try several different types of food from British fish and chips, Chinese, Italian and of course Pacific Salmon.

I also enjoyed the day trip I took via rail. It is a great way to see the area and was a fun outing.

Vancouver is city I look forward to visiting again in the future. There are so many things I would love to do.

Happy Trails! — DH
